A dental implant is sometimes suggested to restore a functioning foundation that has been altered. Dental implants are little titanium posts that are placed into the jawbone in the space the missing tooth once occupied. The bone will then integrate (bond) with the post to create a strong post for an artificial tooth. After the implant surgery has been completed, and proper integration time has passed; we would start the restoration process. This restoration phase includes the abutment and permanent cementation of an implant crown.
